All parties involved with the Laurel Trust including those engaged in communications to request guidance and apply for a grant shall comply with their obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016 which became law in the UK on 25 May 2018 and other applicable data protection law and regulations.

Therefore all parties including all individuals involved in communications concerning any Laurel Trust grant funded research project and other activities undertaken by the Trust including dissemination of research outcomes shall ensure compliance with GDPR by sending an email as soon as possible to the Trust’s registered Company Secretary Ian Pearce (at ian.pearce@ipcep-consulting.com) stating the following:

I consent to my name [insert full name], my email address [insert full email address] and other necessary contact details such as my professional or other contact postal address [you may wish to add your workplace telephone number] being held and controlled by the Laurel Trust for the purposes of administering and monitoring the grants awarded by the Trust, advising on and evaluating the research projects receiving grants 2018-20 and promoting the associated dissemination activities.
I acknowledge that I have received the Trust’s Privacy Policy and that all consenting individuals retain the right under GDPR to withdraw consent at any time by contacting the Trust’s registered company secretary at maggie.roger@outlook.com.
